Virginia Day 8: Little Washington

So there is Big Washington, and there is Little Washington. We felt that Big Washington was getting all the attention because its so flashy and awesome so we decided to give Little Washington an ego boost and grace it with our presence. This was a very very wise plan. We did a little countryside touring, shouted some creeds, and then and only then did we tour the city. So, pretty much this was an unexpected pleasure.

The quaint countryside

The quaint church

The quaint town

The quaint rundown barn

The quaint intersection of Gay and Porter

The quaint tourists

The quaint little tourists

The quaint and slightly weetawded Clara

The quaint expensive restaurant

The quaint cookie eating, porch dwelling locals

Such a quaint and delightful day!

In my mind this was the last day of fall. After that it got cold. And it stayed cold until this very second. Cussin' cold. I would like to go to there (those temps.)

Such a fun trip you had. I hope we can duplicate some or all of what you did when we visit in the spring.
