I have placed a running record of the movies I have seen recently and my own personal rating, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, on the side of my blog. I really do love movies and perhaps you might enjoy some of the ones I have seen as well!

okay. we need to discuss this list in detail, beginning with why on earth bride wars got a higher rating than across the universe.
I liked everything about The Namesake but the son. I think you were rather hard on it.

this will be a very nice resource. I'm surprised Bella only got 8. I give it a 9. I really liked it for some if the same reasons I liked Lars and the Real Girl. It was a movie about nice people doing nice things. Sometimes nice people need more of a shout out in the film world.
I guess I am rating these movies as a gut reaction to the entire experience of watching them, not purely based on the message or story. I loved Bella, but I had a really difficult time with the lead woman. She bugged... for that it got an eight instead of a nine. But I am still considering 7-10 a good rating... I don't know... I also loved Lars and the Real girl more than Bella... its a comparison with the other movies as well I suppose.
